Linda Landman Gonzalez Orlando Magic Rethink HomelessnessLinda Landman Gonzalez is Vice President of Philanthropy and Multicultural Insights for the Orlando Magic. Landman Gonzalez oversees philanthropy, corporate giving, and multicultural insights and is also the President of the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation.

Prior to joining the the senior leadership team of the Orlando Magic in 2007, Landman Gonzalez was Director of Diversity and Community Relations for Darden Restaurants for nine years. While at Darden, she focused on creating community partnerships, employee volunteer opportunities and community leadership development in Orlando and other top markets nationwide. She also managed corporate giving, while developing a second language translation initiative for the corporation. Landman Gonzalez exercised her expertise in multicultural issues while serving as Vice President of Hispanic Sales and Marketing for Barnett Bank in Orlando before joining Darden.

As Chairman Elect of the Central Florida Commission on Homelessness, Landman Gonzalez is continuing her ongoing commitment to the Central Florida community. She is currently involved in volunteer and leadership activities as a member of the Women’s Executive Council of United Way; a Trustee of the City of Orlando’s Children’s Trust Committee; Chairman of the Board of United Arts of Central Florida and Board Member of State of Florida Hispanic Business Initiative Fund.

She has received multiple honors, such as Orlando Business Journal’s 2012 Business Woman of the Year and the 2014 Orlando Athena Leadership Award. She was appointed by Governor Rick Scott to serve on the board of Volunteer Florida (January of 2013), and to serve as Chairman of the Board of the Early Learning Coalition of Orange County (July 2013).

Landman Gonzalez earned a bachelor’s degree in education from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico.
